Egg storage and hatching can be rather flexible. In general, we can store eggs of any kinds in water or moist peat moss as long as we understand that temperature and moisture will affect their incubation time. If we are busy and don’t have time to take care of them, we keep the eggs cool and relatively dry. If we want to hatch them sooner, we keep them warm and wet.
One thing is important. Get your "live baby food" like vinegar eel ready before hatching your eggs! (Luckily, culturing live foods is not difficult nor expensive at all.)
